NSW:Oppn blames Labor for rise in train crime

SYDNEY, Feb 28 AAP - There has been an increase of more than 500 per cent in incidences
of crime on the CityRail network, according to data obtained by the NSW Opposition.

Opposition spokeswoman Gladys Berejiklian said the coalition obtained the information
through Freedom of Information data, which reveals the increase in incidences of crime
on the rail network went from 17,488 in 2007 to 105,101 in 2010.

The top five stations with the highest crime in 2010 are Blacktown, Sutherland, Strathfield,
Campbelltown and Penrith.
